The additional experience points will be incredibly useful for players tackling Season Two’s new prestige tiers and ranking up Cold War’s latest weapons.
All players can earn double experience starting February 26 at 10 am PT. Those who already have the game will be happy to hear that the free access week coincides with a Double XP and Double Weapon XP weekend. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s 40-player multi-team mode, Fireteam: Dirty Bomb, will also be available to players looking for a completely new approach to multiplayer. Other multiplayer modes available to players during the free access week include Gunfight Blueprints and Face Off, as well as classic playlists like Team Deathmatch and Domination.
